The duties of this committee shall be to submit, by the first day of June prior to election years, the names of one or more nominees who have agreed to act as candidates for each office of President, President-elect, Vice-president, Secretary, and Treasurer. The report of the nominating committee shall be published in the Newsletter in July. Other nominations for officers may then be made on petition signed by ten or more members of the Society. Any such petition must be filed with the Secretary within thirty days of the publication of the nomination committee's report in the Newsletter so that the nominee's name may be placed on the official ballot. No person may be nominated or appointed to any office unless that person is a member of the Society. |
