TEXAS BIRDS is a publication of the Texas Ornithological Society, which is dedicated to the observation, study, and conservation of birds, with a special interest in the birds of Texas and adjacent areas.
We welcome articles on identification, status, and distribution
of Texas species; discovery and description of Texas rarities;
Texas specialties; birding locations within the state and Mexico;
research projects; habitat conservation; and other subjects of
interest to those who bird in Texas. We also accept, without responsibility
for loss or damage, photographs and art, copyright of which remains
