Texas Birds Volume 2 Number 2

Texas Birds has a new editor. I would like to welcome Glenn Perrigo of Texas A & M Univeristy - Kingsville as Editor. Glenn is an Assistant Professor of Biology and received his Ph. D. in 1986 from the University of Texas at Austin. His teaching specialties are Anatomy and Physiology of Vertebrates, and his research interests include physiology, behavior, and ecology of vertebrate reproduction and sex differences

TEXAS BIRDS is a publication of the Texas Ornithological Society, which is dedicated to the observation, study, and conservation of birds, with a special interest in the birds of Texas and adjacent areas.

We welcome articles on identification, status, and distribution of Texas species; discovery and description of Texas rarities; Texas specialties; birding locations within the state and Mexico; research projects; habitat conservation; and other subjects of interest to those who bird in Texas. We also accept, without responsibility for loss or damage, photographs and art, copyright of which remains with the photographer or artist.
