Be a Rio Diablo Birding Camp Sponsor!

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension offers a youth birding experience each year, and TOS is pleased to share an opportunity to become a sponsor and help a student attend.

This year the event takes place on June 11-17.  Beginning in San Antonio, the group travels to Big Bend, the Davis Mountains, Devils River SNA, a private ranch, Fort Clark Springs, and Kickapoo Caverns. Campers learn about more than birds.  Afternoon sessions cover astronomy, geology, careers in wildlife and more, and along the route they learn about Texas history and other flora and fauna of our state.

Read more about the experience HERE.

The cost is $1,000 per student, with a $500 scholarship available.  Every dollar in donations makes it possible for more children to participate, so we hope you will consider opening your purse, and your hearts, to make a contribution to this worthy cause!  Just click the link below to help make a child's summer the best it can be.
